Core armband

I just got the core armband yesterday and I'm trying to figure this all out. Am I suppose to still enter my workout time on MFP? I did enter it yesterday then I deleted it because it showed me with 1000 calories from my workout and I'm not for sure if this correct. I know I didn't where the armband all day yesterday and today I have a sick baby so I didn't make it to the gym so any suggestions would be great!

    I don't enter any exercise in MFP...I allow bodymedia to sync my calories
