I mentioned this a few weeks ago, but since I have started this program (nearly a month) the lower back pain I used to have is nonexistant. It bothered me when sleeping, but most notably when bending over to clean the cat box or bath tub, changing laundry and things like that. I am so pleased that this has had such an effect, and I haven't lost that much weight yet, but this is such a huge deal for me! What are some things that have become easier for you or pains that have decreased since you've started your healthier lifestyle?

I can lift my ankle up onto the opposite knee to put my socks on!!! I used to have to sit on the bed and pull my leg up beside me!!
  • you know what's funny is less pain didn't even occur to me till I read this. And you are right! With exercising (I didn't at all previously) and eating better, healthier food I don't wake up in as much joint pain. My muscles still hurt when I over exert from working out or exercising but no more pain from doing the daily things like you said, cleaning, laundry going up and down the stairs!

Thanks for posting this and bringing it to my attention!

Walking up and down the stairs with no knee pain. When I carry something heavy up/down the stairs, I still get twinges of pain. I cant wait to loose more and have this go too.

While I haven't noticed any physical changes.....yet.....I do feel like I have more energy during the day. I'm much more alert now and not as grumpy as I used to be.

I was having pain in my hip for no apparent reason (other than age, I guess :grumble: ). My doctor suggested yoga. I never got around to going to a yoga class or getting a DVD, but I have been doing yoga on Wii Fit Plus. I'm doing other exercises like Jillian Michaels' 30-day Shred, but I really think the yoga is helping. NO hip pain for a couple of months now. Yes!!
