Confession: prefer running to. Body Revolution

I started JMBR and did couch to 5k instead I'd the cardio. I've just started week 3 of BR and I so much prefer goung for a run.
I'm finding a lot if the balance work is boring me.
I've read a lot about he importance if strength training too though.
Could I mainly run and then do some weight work on the upper body and ab exercised to supplement it. I presume running would be enough for my lower body.

I prefer running too but strength training is important. I did JMBR all 4 days my first round and ran on the days she figured in cardio. Now I do only 2 days. I do the upper and lower once a week when I do JMBR. Lower body strength work outs are important. They improve the muscles you are not working as hard when running.0

So are you saying you run 4 times a week and do BR front and back once a wek for strength training?0
