im not a measuring type of person but made a crock pot of jambalaya .. healthy of course
tomatoes - you can also use salsa
garlic
chopped onion
chopped bell pepper the color of your choice . i used orange because it is sweeter
italian seasoning
red crushed pepper
chunked up boneless skinless chicken breast
shrimp
texamati brown and red rice
cook it all but the rice and the shrimp in the crock pot most the day or over night .. about a half hour before serving put in the cooked rice and shrimp

Thanks! I LOVE jambalaya but do not enjoy pork. Finding premade jamba without sausage was so difficult, I've been trying to make it myself to no avail. I will try this overnight cooking method and see how it works.0
