Calories on rest days

Anyone else have trouble staying within their calorie allotment on days that you don't work out? I'm already exercising 5 days a week and if I don't take a day or two off my back and hips are a mess. I already have switched to all low-impact exercises but I still need those rest days. However I find it really challenging when I don't have those extra calories from exercise. What do you do? Any tips?
