Sensitive + Overeating

Hello Everyone,

My name is Kate Stefans (pleasure to meet you via the web!).

I struggled with compulsive overeating/binge eating for nearly a decade. Emotional eating was a problem for me until I learned how to manage my sensitive self in a world that overwhelmed me. As someone who lost the weight and was still terribly uncomfortable in the world, I can tell you that the problem was never the lbs. As a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), my body and mind are more likely to be overwhelmed, overstimulated, and over aroused and this is precisely where food came into play. I have found many others struggle with the same. I wrote an article on the correlation between sensitivity and overeating here: http://katestefans.com/the-coexistance-of-sensitivity-overeating/.

Lots of love!
-Kate
