I want to know if there are good movies about people losing weight and getting fit. (Not old movies)

    There is a movie called: "Inspired: The Movie" that will be out in 2013. It looks really good and has a lot of people that are top in the field in it and it addresses things in a scientifically accurate manner (as far as I can tell). There is a clip about a man named Arthur that is a veteran and loses a lot of weight and regains mobility doing yoga that went viral, that was part of the movie as well. I hope it will be good.

    Million Dollar Baby....maybe not losing weight or anything, but it's a pretty killer training movie
    Enough.....the Jennifer Lopez movie about her and her abusive spouse
    Someone mentioned Muriel's Wedding......never saw it, but I guess it's cheesy and about this overweight woman losing all the weight.

    These movies aren't really about weight loss, but show people training hard. I think they're motivational :)

    -Blue Crush
    -Sidekicks (okay it's cheesy...but Chuck Norris is in it ;)

    I second this! I loved that movie when I was a kid.

    But it is from the early 90s, and it is a kid's/teen's movie.

    Not a movie, but have you watched A&E's series, 'Heavy'? It's pretty amazing. They took it off Netflix Instant, but I believe full episodes are still on A&E's website.

    Muriel's Wedding is a great film. Not at all about getting physically though, more about a woman being a loser and eventually getting her *kitten* together.
