The endless gourmet slices that are insanely expensive because they are from other countries. I have nibbled on so many but couldn't justify spending that type of money on them.

  • This is a trick question. It is impossible to pick a favorite cheese. I love them all.

In Germany there is a store called Globus. For Americans imagine Walmart sold Trader Joe's products. It was wonderful! In a typical American grocery store the cheese section is maybe 5 steps long. Maybe. In Globus they have a cheese counter that was mind boggling. I decided to walk it out one day. 52 steps. FIFTY FREAKING TWO!!! Not heel to toe either. We're talking 2' stride. That's over 100' of cheese!!! And it wasn't just one next to the other. Oh no, that counter was 3-5 cheeses deep!! It was my happy place.

I'm not sure I could pick a favorite. I love a good stilton or cambezolla but a smoked pepper gouda or New Amsterdam are just wonderful as well.
