    and Id like to know why all the ppl (or most) take pics on the bathroom mirror?

    while we are at why do girls like to take pic first person shots of the legs and feet?

    I take those because I'm usually at the beach on vacation and it's a cool shot of my feet and the ocean.

    Years ago taking pictures of girls taking pictures of their legs and socks what part of the Thinspo movement as Proana. I have heard that younger girls are learning about Thinspo again. Parents and Teachers be aware of teenagers also wearing red bracelets they can also have a dragon fly represents they have an ED. My oldest did this

    honest reason , is because if I TRY to take a new profile photo at home I will get laughed at for making stupid poser faces lol. So its kinda like being a "closet poser", preferring to sneak out to the privacy of my car to perfect the cool-dork look.

    I doubt they are driving. I took a pic sitting in the car line at my son's school once because I got earrings for Christmas and the person I was talking to asked to see them. It's no big deal. Don't get me started on the headless pics or the ones where you just see someone's eyeball and a lot of hair covering their face. Some people are insecure about the way they look. We should be more accepting, and maybe people wouldn't feel they had to cover up or take a glamour shot to feel ok. Most of us have probably felt insecure about our looks or we wouldn't be here.

    I don't know about everyone else but because it's the right time to strike a pose. There isn't a prefect place to take a photo, they just happen, or I'm bored and heck why not?!

    if i take a car pic it usually means i have been sat in the car waiting for hours :|
    like the several from when i had a 2 hour wait at a theme park because my mum seemed to think it would take longer to get there :|
    or waiting for my sister to come out of school she is always the last one! ggrr!

    Because it's a flattering angle - you look at yourself in rearview mirror, which is above your eye level. So eyes look big, jawlines are sharp and the head looks big in proportion to the body, and you look great! So why not snap a picture, right?

    The same reason everyone learns to take cellphone pictures of themselves with the camera held higher than their heads. Lower makes you magically gain a double chin and enormous nostrils, and your eyes look half closed...

    I have never noticed this. It's an interesting observation. I don't have a camera on my phone, so it's nothing something I would really have much opportunity to do. I would assume that these people are at a complete stop when doing this.

    Because my children are all buckled in their seats.....soooooooo, I can take a pic without being a jungle gym.
