HRM Lose HR? Constantly having to re-wet the chest strap? I

My HRM was constantly losing it's signal due to it drying and me having to re-wet. I had a bright idea one day and never have to re-wet or worry about losing the signal anymore. Next time you strap up, instead of wetting with water, use some KY Jelly or other water based lubricant. Hospitals and doctors use use water based lubricants for equipment that requires moisture in order for the equipment to work, such as ultrasound. So why not for a HRM? Just wanted to pass along this little tip. Happy lubing up!!
