Musicians : Your favorite guitarist!?
So who's your favorite guitarist? I'm looking to discover new music so shoot away! At the same time, if you have never heard of Tommy Emmanuel, I highly highly HIGHLY recommend checking him out on youtube! He's been declared the best acoustic player in the world for a number of years now...he was a student of the late Chet Atkins! Anyways, I can't decide on only 1 song so here are a couple links to check out his talent & creativity! The reason why I think he's the best also, it's because he's so versatile. He'll play a blues, followed by a jazzy tune, then a ballad...there's just no end! Anyways, words can't do him justice so enjoy my friends and don't forget to tell me who's your favorite guitarist

Sometimes I think Roy Clark is under rated, this was live TV. Probably very hard to do. His finger work is a little sloppy, but his strumming skills are amazing. I have to try that now. Lol. http://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=related&v=QhiKgeJV3k00

Grew up in the 80's with lost of "noodley" sounding solos and guitarists. I like the fast stuff too, but to me Steve Vai was the best guitartist from my musical generation (not very mainstrem compared to the others in the 80's).0
