What is the best type of scale (most accurate) to use when weighing yourself and where is a good place to put it in your house?

I use a digital scale, on a hard tiled floor. Using on carpet or soft flooring can affect the accuracy

I find the digital one fine, my old rotary dial analogue varied too much depending where or how I stood on them

Plus for me the digital is easier to read
