How to measure spaghetti squash?

Im cooking spaghetti squash for the first time tonight, and I've cut it into halves.
Obviously you don't eat the skin, and scrape it out after baking, but how do you weigh it? I don't want to put the scrapings on the scale do I? (I guess I could)
Right now a half (uncooked) is 1100 grams, which is an insane amount! Plus, that's a lot of carbs, so I dont think that's accurate.
Help please

I go by cups. One cup of spaghetti squash seems to be 42 cals.

Why can't you weigh it when it's cooked and you are serving it? Put the plate on the scale, TARE it out, and weigh the squash as you put it on your plate. . . and all veggies have carbs. Not a bad thing.0

I didn't think about TAREing it. That's a good idea, I'll try that. Thanks!0
