New (kinda) and determined and need a buddy!

Hi everyone!
I'm 19-year-old female, and I'm studying Music at a music college in the UK, but I come from an Asian country.
I've been overweight for as long as I can remember. I have always loved food, and I remember a time when I had a huge craving for McDonald's, and literally ate McDonald's over 5 times a week. I was around 130lbs before I left for the UK, but since I've come to the UK in September 2010, I've ballooned to over 150lbs in just 2 years. I'm not sure how much I weighed at my heaviest, but I would say around 154lbs. During the summer, I decided that I really needed to lose weight, not just to look good, but I was worried I might get health problems later in life, so I started hitting the gym 3 times a week and cut down my portion sizes by a little. I went from 154lbs to 147lbs in 2 months, but this was before I joined MFP.
Since I've joined MFP on 10/10/12, I've been cutting down my calories to 1200 a day. I had a fitness assessment on 11/10/12, one day after I've started, and I was at 146lbs. I dropped from 146lbs to 134lbs in 2 weeks, which had me worried, but now I've hit a plateau, and I've lost 1 pound since then. My goal is 120lbs, and I am having a photoshoot in mid-December, and hopefully by then I would have gone down to 130lbs!
Please add me as a friend, I really need a buddy to go through this with me! :flowerforyou:
