Energy Drinks

I know that this question has been asked so many times. However, please indulge me. I usually drink 1 can of Monster 10 or 20 cals per can or Lo-Cal Monster for my one hour dance workout. Are energy drinks generally bad for your body? Would you die because of it? What are your thoughts? I only take about 1 a day though. Would that do a lot of harm in your opinion?

    I kicked the habit months ago after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder. I feel a million times better, those afternoon crashes seemed to be linked to both drinking the energy drinks and eating poorly. Its hard, and i still crave them sometimes but I grab a fruit or drink water and soon my mind has forgotten.

    That being said I too am a Monster addict but thankfully I dislike sweets in general so I never drink more than 1/5th of a can in a day. I only drink the yellow tea or blue 0 cal one. I like no cal redbull too but that's more hardcore so I get it less. I drink it just for the taste, I don't need any energy :)) Anyway I don't think any amount is good for you but I think 1 can a day is way too much.

    And either way man I love me some monster, usually 2 a day sometimes, but definitely one. I love the new white ones they dont taste as bad for you, plus they are clear and not nuclear horse piss colored muahaha

    I think they are fine in moderation, just like anything else. I don't use the ones that are mostly caffeine, but the ones with ginseng and taurine have health benefits. I would imagine that you would have to drink tons of those for them to have a negative effect.

    Ultra zero, my favorite! I used to drink like 5-6 a day, now I try to keep it under 4.
