New here and looking for support

Hey guys!

My name's Macha, I'm new on MFP and I'm looking for friends!

To introduce myself a little bit, I'm a graphic designer here in France...I live a very sedentary-computered life...and I need to get in shape. That's why I'm here. I also have problems with binge-eating but it got a little bit better lately even though I just binged..and I sign up on MFP right after.

I plan to work out to loose my weight. I love food too much to deprive myself...so my only alternative is sport. And it's a great way to get warm during winter!

Hope to find a lot of new MFP friends!

  • Good luck with the weight loss program. But I hate to tell you, that just exercising or doing a sport without watching what you eat will most likely not work. Been there done that. Like you I like my food too much. For two months, 5 days a week I would get up at 5 am to exercise. Did not lose anything. I found out I have a serve food allergy, so had to change what I eat. I have lost 7 pounds in the last 18 days. I am still exercising. I am not writing you to discourage you, but to help. Hopefully my lessons can help you.. Good luck.

    Well...yes, I'll watch what I eat, I mean, I won't deprive myself. I don't think I can eat less than 1800 cal a day. But I'll do my best to not go over that either ^_^
