My Thanksgiving Challenge

Since it seems most challenges here tend to favor deprivation (no sweets, eating at night or something like that) or doing something silly like 2390874 crunches a day or hopping on 1 foot while drinking a cleanse of some sorts till you pass out, I decided to create a challenge favoring indulgence.
The challenge is simple, enjoy your Thanksgiving, eat the foods you want and as much as you want. Enjoy the holiday and food and get on track Friday or Monday, if you want to dominate leftovers all weekend. There will be no weighing yourself the next morning and freaking out, no starving yourself the next day, running miles and miles to bank calories, no feeling bad you ate too much or had a slice of pie, just enjoy.

That is a wonderful challenge. I feel that their are 52 weeks in a year. Their are two weeks out of the year that we eat more than we should....Thanksgiving and Christmas......So as long as we eat healthy 50 weeks of the year, those two weeks we deserve. I basically have lost my appetite since losing weight and have to force eating, but hoping Thanksgiving will be different. Thank you for the post.................Joann HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL......:drinker:0

Hey how did you get my picture?0 -
Started things out at my mom's this past Saturday for her Thanksgiving...had 3/4 of a pumpkin pie with whipped cream (not at one time, but throughout the day) and 3-4 thick slices of banana nut bread along with the usual Thanksgiving plate or two of food, mashed taters, gravy, turkey, ham...etc, etc, etc.
So...having said all that to say this..
I'm in. I accept your challenge.
Now...to work on the two Thanksgiving dinners on Thursday and the annual after Thanksgiving home-made pizza party on Saturday.0 -
