What to do now?!?!?!?!?!

So last night my car got broken into and ALL my workout close and my running shoes were stolen. I'd love to be able to replace them, but I'm a broken college student so that'll take a while (so angry, brand new $100 running shoes that I had to save FOREVER for!). I honestly don't have any alternative clothes to work out in - jeans and sweaters and blouses and high heels make up the vast majority of my wardrobe. So what should I do for exercise? I'm really open to suggestions.

When I say poor college student, I mean POOR. as in, $6 in my bank acount until I get paid again on the 30th.0 -
Do they have a freecycle in your area? Check that out, as well as craigslist (there is a free section on it). My next option would be the Goodwill or ARC or other thrift store (when you do get some cash). Also check out local Facebook yardsale groups in your area.
There is nothing wrong with working out in regular clothes, maybe just take a walk or tone down the intensity if you can. Do you have pajama's or other loose clothes you can substitute for the time being? I guess it depends on the kind of workout you do, whether you're at home alone or go to a gym.
Personally, when I was in a workout routine (fell out of the habit but am struggling to get back to it again) I made a point of not worrying about special clothes for working out. I found that when I did that, I often used the excuse "my workout clothes are dirty/in the laundry/not folded/etc" to talk myself out of it. When I decided I could do my walks and zumba wearing jeans and tshirt, I never had a reason to talk myself out of doing it.0 -
When I was doing the couch to 5k, I was running in place in my bedroom while barefoot. You could try that until you are able to at least come up with some thrift store cash.0

Sorry to hear about this. Was the window of the car busted? I always lock doors and try to never leave anything in a car. My children think I am paranoid but I have lived longer in this insane and cruel world than they have.
As to working out you can take long jog/walks in whatever. At home you can be naked. I have also gone to the gym with in flat boots, short sleeve top and slacks due to not having my gym bag with me after work. Do you have any sweat pants, shorts or a swim suit? I have also seem people at the gym with no shoes.
Good luck and be safe.0 -

Insurance to cover your stolen items?
You can always do pilates or yoga, those don't require shoes.0 -
Maybe just ask a friend if you could borrow a shirt and a sweatpants...
Shoe issue... Take some balerinna's0 -

Yup, in college, I would have just asked someone to borrow a few things until I could replace. Also, why were you keeping all your workout clothes in your car? I keep my workout towels in my car, so I don't have to worry about forgetting to grab one before I leave the house, but I find it much easier to store my clothes indoors, since I get dressed indoors.
If you don't have any friends to borrow from, could you ask mom & dad for some emergency cash for a few things?0 -
well I was at school and had my gym bag in the backseat of my car. Yes the doors were locked and yes they busted the window out (freakin lovely) Insurance will take a little while to sort out. I might be able to borrow somethings (wish I wasn't the fat friend -_- I'll have to borrow them from a boy
) Pilates in my under roos sounds like a good option until I can replace them. I'm becoming a runner so losing the shoes really sucks. The only other pair I had without a heal were a big pair of hiking boots. I'll make it work, I walked for two hours today to make up for the run I'd typically take, I'll figure it out
