Healthy Low Calorie Snacks

One of my biggest things about clean eating is my craving for snacks. Naturally I don't want to self sabotage the work that I do with a bunch of junk food.
So what are some of your healthy low calorie snacks?

I also crave sweets soooo much since I was so used to eating it before. So what are some sweet-ish snacks that I can eat in moderation that won't ruin my weight loss efforts?

  • Cottage cheese is low cal and filling, also I use Renee's yogurt dressing as a dip for veggies as its much lower in cal and tastes great!

some of the 60 and 70 calorie jello puddings are easy to get into.
1/2 cup of frozen yogurt with berries
cottage cheese + cinnamon + cocoa powder + oatmeal (I know, I didn't dare believe it, but it's good)
100 calorie popcorn bags and whatever seasonings float your boat
80 calorie dannon 2x protein greek yogurt
  • I've never had string cheese but I hear that quite a lot. That and cottage cheese.

Yeah, I'd say fruit is your best bet for low calorie sweet snacks!
I mix some of my favorite fruits with a smidge of good maple syrup if they aren't in season, and that really helps, or even with some light cool whip.
the prepackaged 100 calorie snacks are good too, and I have them every so often, but keep in mind that fruit has fiber and will actually help to fill you up and give you nutrition, while the snacks are good they aren't doing anything to keep you full and are just wasting empty calories, ya know?
