how do I convert grams to ounces or cups?

Hi everyone I am having homemade macaroni and cheese tonight and the MFP database only had the serving size in grams. how do I convert this to ounces? it is 212 grams. anybody know??? Iam sure it's probably simple but I am not good with this type of thing. thank you!

    ask google when you have these questions (212.62 grams = (7.5 ounces))

    My iPhone app tells me 7.47807993 oz is 212 grams

    ***You can't convert weight (grams in this instance) to VOLUME (cups & ounces in this instance).***

    An ounce of volume doesn't always weigh an ounce.

    Example -- a cup of iron filings weighs a LOT more than a cup of marshmallow fluff. Right? So, they're they same volume (1 cup, or 8 ounces) but they weigh 2 completely different amounts.

    Edit: Sorry forgot to answer the question -- 1 ounce (weight ounce) is roughly 28.35 grams

    ok well I am going to measure 3/4 of a cup. next time I make this dish I will make an individual portion and figure out the calories of each ingredient, just so I know for sure. Thank you for the help :wink:
