Vegetarian Whole Wheat Flatbread Pizza

Last night I made two amazing flatbread pizzas. I think what I like most about creating and trying new recipes is (besides enjoying them myself) watching my family try them, like them, and eat healthier!

Anywho, if you’d like to give the recipe a try, here it is! I’ll write the recipe for ONE pizza, but I normally make TWO at a time (so double the recipe for two).

Vegetarian Whole Wheat Flatbread Pizza

Ingredients:

- 1 whole wheat soft shell tortilla
- 2 tbs of ragu spaghetti sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp italian seasoning spices
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella
- 2 tsp vegan parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup red onion (chopped)
- 1/8 orange bell pepper (chopped)
- 2 cloves fresh garlic (chopped)
- 1/4 cup mushrooms (copped)
- 1/2 roma tomato (chopped)

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 350°. Place tortilla shell on cookie sheet. Spread sauce on tortilla shell, then sprinkle garlic powder and italian seasoning on top of sauce. Sprinkle mozzarella on top followed by vegan parmesan. Chop up veggies and layer on top of cheese. Put in oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is fully melted and crust is lightly brown and crispy. Enjoy!
