I just read through all of these, and NO ONE is going to give The Family Stone props? Wtf? It is my all-time fave... Everybody go watch it!

Actually, someone (hint: me) mentioned it on the first page. You didn't read very thoroughly.

I am another for the Muppet Christmas Carol! 2 girlfriends and I get together every Christmas season to watch it and eat Christmas cookies and chocolate fondue and drink hot chocolate (calories be damned!)

"Light the lamp not the rat! Light the lamp not the rat!!"

My favorite one of all time.

    LOVE Rizzo!

"The Family Stone", and "Love Actually". They are newer movies, but they are so awesome. They both make me crack up AND cry like a baby, all in the same movie. :blushing:

Love Actually is a great movie!!!

I love most of them. (Except the sappy ones on Lifetime and such) I mostly like the classics like "Miracle on 34th Street" and "It's A Wonderful Life" but also some of the ones that came out when I was a kid like "A Christmas Story," and "Polar Express" has become a tradition as well. Don't ask me to pick a favorite though.

    Impossible to pick just one!
It isn't a Christmas though unless you watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas (both the cartoon and Jim Carey version), National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, and the classic Christmas Story.
...but I refuse to watch any of them before there's snow on the ground, and before I've decorated the house!

Christmas morning tradition: Yule Log (the hour long video of the logs burning in the fireplace, nothing else) with Bing Crosby playing.

It's a Wonderful Life and Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas

Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas - I just bought this on DVD three weeks ago. I can not wait to show it to my kids this year. To bad they scrapped Kermits intro.
