Decorate for Christmas?

We usually do the say after Thanksgiving but are doing it the day before this year.

Every year my husband goes upstate hunting the day after Thanksgiving and is gone for a week so we wait until early December to put the tree up. And, I take it down the day after Christmas... my family acts like I'm a scroogey killjoy for not leaving it up until after New Years but I'm always in a hurry to get it back down.

I usually try to get decorations up either the weekend after Thanksgiving or the following weekend. Then the goal is to get them down before New Years. We don't do a whole lot, just a tree and stockings so it doesn't take all that long.

Always the day after Thanksgiving, but I would like to sooner. I love decorating!

The day after Thanksgiving but I don't take them down untill the second week in January.

I did mine Nov. 1st. This is was a little earlier because we were excited to see our 9 month old twins reaction to the tree. It was priceless

If my hubs had it his way there would never be a tree. I would say the first week of December.

Not until after Dec. 11 - our son's birthday. Although the tree (live) is usually in the stand defrosting by the 11th.

I also take it down before New Years - I love Christmas, but, one tree a year is good.
