The start of an AWESOME journey!

Well this is my first day of trying to lose weight...again! I've learned over the years that no matter how much exercising I do, if I don't watch what I eat I won't make much progress. Now knowing that information really didn't do much for me because I wasn't disiplined enuff to stick with a diet. With this website I am sure i will be able to lose some weight because I'm able to track and see what I eat. I guess i'm a numbers guy and i like to see progress in anything that I do. This time around I have a real chance of losing weight and being able to take my shirt off this summer! Whoo Hoo!!!! Good luck to everyone on this site!!!

    James, welcome to MFP!!! Congratulations on the decision to change your way of life.

    Here are some suggestions to be successful:
    1. Drink lots of water
    2. Eat all your calories
    3. Move your body (exercise)
    4. Don't ever quit

    If you feel like quitting, let someone on here know, and they will try to keep you motivated!!!
