    "tone" comes from fat loss, and can't be reduced in particular areas. Though these exercises have value for sedentary people at a low strength level, and they absolutely should do them.

    there's no guarantee where your fat is going to come from. just because you walk using your legs doesnt mean that leg fat is the main place from where your body will take fat reserves for energy use. all of that is based on your genetics

    in general though the exercises are good EXCEPT for the leg extensions especially since there's no suggested exercise given for hamstrings. part of the reason why so many women have knee issues is that they place too much focus on developing quad muscles and not enough developing the hams and glutes. imbalances lead to injury
