I do treadmill walking on an incline, I start low and over 10 minutes build up to 12% incline, then over another 10 work my way back down. This burns more cals than just flat walking, but how do I log it? I can't see anything!!

Thanks :-).

If your treadmill spits out a burn estimate, you can just overtype that under the regular walking category.

Look for "walking uphill" and try to average it out as best you can. Better to underestimate than overestimate, obviously. I wouldn't rely on a treadmill's calorie burn reading unless you have tested it against an HRM to verify its accuracy. (I know, I know ... HRM's aren't 100% accurate. But they're more accurate than the treadmill or MFP.)

Thanks!! Yeah I don't trust the estimated calorie burn off the treadmill... Always seems too high...

If the treadmill allows you to enter your weight, and you do not hold on to the handrails, the treadmill number will likely be as accurate as any. Especially when you are doing variable grades or speeds--the treadmill keeps constant track of the varying workloads.
