New guy here...the journey begins...

A friend of mine recommended I join MFP, so here I be.

I'm an Army vet, but got out about ten years ago. I've steadily gained about six pounds a year, and I'm looking to get back to my 'fightin' weight. Just received the Power 90 program in the mail (too much of a wuss to try P90X), and my first workout will begin Saturday.

    Keep focused man. I have the Power 90 as well, and I will be starting it Saturday too. I also started the Couch to 5K this week.

    hi mfp really helps you realize what your eating, calorie wise, the more you exercise the more you eat, so this is a great program, especially if you want to indulge certain days and have thoughs high calorie items. good luck, you can do this and it works.
