Thinking maybe I want to keep those last three pounds..

So, when I started here at 168 pounds, I set myself a goal weight of 126. I'd weighed that before and I remembered it as being the best size I'd been- I've been as small as 112 before and that looked all wrong on me; I evict pretty wide hips, and the whole thing went concave and horrible.

Anyhow, when I got to 140, I thought I'd see how I felt at 133, maybe that was going to be best, got there and felt that I had a bit more to lose. Now I'm at 129/130 and I can't decide if I should try and maintain where I am or just go for the final three- as much because I don't want to feel like I've given up right at the final stages as any other reasoning I have. I'm generally feeli g pretty happy with where I am now, even worried that as I'm only 5'3"ish if I'm starting to feel likely wrists are a bit on the skinny side now then in three pounds time, maybe I'll look like a skeleton..

Did anyone re evaluate their goal just before their final goal weight? How do you do it and not feel like you'd just given up?
Was thinking maybe I should just start adding a bit more to my diet slowly and see how I end up?

Any advice??

DEFINITELY! changing goals as you get closer is very normal. You couldn't predict how you would look/feel once you got where you are. Do what makes you comfortable. Congrats on all the weight loss btw!

If you are happy where you are then stay there. No need to force yourself to lose 3 lbs for no good reason. It's not quitting - it's reassessing your goals and being reasonable.

I've seen some maintainers say to go until you feel like you are too thin, then while you work on maintenance you will naturally gain back the few lbs that even you out as sometimes maintenance can be tricky.

And if you get maintenance down without any gain, then you can work on slowly gaining a few the healthy way, maybe by building muscle.

Before I got pregnant and gained a lot of weight, I set a goal of 140 and stopped at 146 because I felt like that was fine. Now this time I want to hit 140 and see if it is a huge difference, or if I will infact feel too thin.

Yep definitely don't be scared to re-evaluate your goals as you go along. Remember your body composition could be different depending on what exercise you have been doing. You could be carrying more muscle now so at 130 you might look just as good as you did at 126

The number doesn't mean that much to me, it's all about how I feel. I'm not going to limit myself to a certain number. Yes, I have a goal weight in mind, but if I am looking and feeling good at 5 pounds heavier, then I'm not going to over think it.

i had a goal of 125 and hoped that maybe just maybe i could do 120 again one day. well once i hit 125 i thought well i will try and if its ment to be it is ment to be.. well i hit 120 ( almost easier then losing the other 15 lbs) and then i re evaluated to 117-118 so i can bounce around between 117/118- 120 but i can't get under 120 for the life of me, so i am accepting 120 is where i need to be :)

You can always hold where you are for now and see how it feels. Even after you stop actively losing your body will continue to change and you can also work on reducing body fat or building muscle.

I decided to keep my last two pounds, as I was happy with my appearance.... I figured Id work over time to convert them to muscle...

Yeah I think I am going to go under my goal a bit. I want a little wiggle room for when I start upping my calories.

My goal is currently set to 165 because that is 5 pounds under overweight for my height. When I get down close to that I'll see if I still like that goal. It's not a fixed number.
