Hello everyone. Been loging food daily but this last week has not been a good one. I ended up closing a big chapter in my life. moved my stuff out of my ex fiance's house and it was harder than i thought even though it has been awhile since we have been seperated. I also found out that my grandpa who is thousands of miles away is sick in hospital.
I do great all day then at night my emotional eating comes back. These last 2 days i wake up at 11am and dont eat til 8 pm because iv been so busy and stressed. I thought i was just going over my cals by a little i looked at the last week and it has been this:
FRI (-63)
SAT (-255)
SUN (-151)
MON (-35)
TUE (-307)
WED (- 213)
AND THE TERRIBLE THING IS 90 % OF THE CALORIES IS JUNK!
I had only gone over twice in calories in a month. Now this week has been hell I have gone over everyday almost. Im so irritated with myself. I feel depressed

You are obviously having a very tough time right now. It sounds hollow but truly you KNOW you will feel better some time in the future. The speed with which you do feel better will be determined in large part by when you rejoin your future desires and goals to your present life. Right now, you sound like you are putting your "future" life on hold while you focus on the present...pain.
Something that has helped me fight the "Black Dog" as Winston Churchill named his depressive periods...has been to contemplate who and what I want to be a year or even five years out. I utilize visual imagery and really get into details. After a few days/weeks you will have a pretty clear idea of what those dreams are. These are your goals and your next step is to work your way backward to the present day...that is your path. By the time you accomplish this you will be feeling better.
Also try doing at least 30 minutes of aerobic exercise daily. Not only will this eat up some of those extra calories...but it will kick in the endorphins which will help reduce your blues.
God Bless You and keep you in his grace.0 -
We all get challenged during stressful times in our life. Make this your throw-away week. Work on trying to heal emotionally and have a fresh start next week.0
