you probably are taller!.. when you get in shape your posture becomes better and makes your back straighter which makes you taller.. you should check your measurement!

I got the exact same " you look taller" comment from several people. I guess when your not as big around as you are tall it makes a difference LOL! I'll take the taller comment any day over the " you have such a pretty face" AKA too bad you are too fat to be pretty! LOL

All true.
In my case it is probably the aspect ratio thing.
I'm also my "normal" walking pace is much faster. Even walking among the cubicles at work.

Honestly, i really think what happens is we lose weight in our faces/necks, which changes how our hair frames our faces!! This can cast the illusion of a different hair cut/style with out ever changing it!!

My favorite so far is "Wow, you've lost a ton of weight!!!" It's almost like getting slap in the face for a compliment. Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful they've noticed and proudly say thank you but inside I'm thinking "You couldn't have worded that any nicer???" But I know they mean well.
