Should I rest from working out for a week? Pain in leg.

Hello! I started the 30 day shred about two weeks ago and besides from regular soreness everything was fine. But Last Friday as I was about to start Level 2, I got a pain in my left leg. So I didn't workout I took a rest day and started Sunday. The pain is STILL in the same spot. I can't even bend my leg without it hurting. Did I pull something? Should I go to the doctor? The only time it doesn't hurt is when I don't bend my leg. Please help! I don't wanna fall off the wagon because of my leg.

    Chances are you have pulled or strained a muscle. Maybe you used incorrect form, or just didn't get warmed up enough before your workout. You can go to the doctor just to be safe.
    It's best not to exercise with a pulled or strained muscle. Wait until it feels better, and keep an eye on that caloric intake to ensure there is no weight gain during the wait time. You should be fine :)
