Started 203lbs (prior to this profile)
    Profile start date weight 189
    Current weight 183lbs
    5"5

I eat a lot of protein and load up on leafy vegetables and eat a fruit with every meal
No soda plenty of water and black coffee etc
    I aim to workout 4 to 5 days a week 60 mins cardio/strength
And let me add a cheat day adding no more 500 calories extra for that day
Helped me with controlling appetite as well as cutting the junk

Good luck on your weight loss journey

    Oh I started at 209lbs Feb 2012. I'm 5'4" and now I am 130lbs.

Took me 7 months to get to 141lbs.

Run...run like your life depends on it.

I don't do cheat days, I don't take a day off & workout every single day. I do 20,000 steps at least & that INCLUDES my 10km run. Some days I'll do my run & then ALSO at least 20,000 steps.

OMG edit: I just realized that despite my goal being 141 at the start I had re-done my goal back then when I got to it....... my new goal was 130lbs........ I hit that today.

YAY......I'm all done. Took me 19 years to put it on.....just under 15 months to take it off. Yay..... see I'm not old at 37... I still got it.

Has anyone had a deficit of a 1000 calorie a day if so what was your experience?

I'm not saying only consuming a 1000 I'm saying like eating 2000 burning 1000 if that makes since haha haven't gone to bed yet!

Starvation....doesn't work. You feel miserable and your body knows it needs to make each calorie count so you won't lose weight quickly. Better to add 500 more calories and do regular exercise.
