Why don't strength exercises get accounted for?

I logged strength exercises, but they don't show up on my activity news feed or calories....

I've wondered this too - if you put under cardio that you did strength training then it shows... but not otherwise (at least from my experience)0

ya, it blows. I'm leaning to a heart rate monitor to give me a better idea of how many calories I'm burning during strength sessions.0

I just use the Jefit app to track weights since they have far more exercises and customizing anyway. Like everyone above says, just use MFP's weight lifting-cardio function to track your lifting calories burned.
I'm hoping this'll improve in the future.0
