Hi everyone! New here and need to try something else. Beginning in January 2011, I've lost 30 pounds. At first it was almost too easy. I started exercising 3-4 times a week for 1 hour instead of 2-3 times a week for 30 minutes. I started drinking at least 64 oz of water. And I consciously started making healthy choices. Now.....I'm stuck. Yes, the newness has worn off. Yes, I'm tired of "watching" water, food and exercise. Yes, I look much better. But I'd really like to lose another 20 pounds. I am now drinking 80 oz of water a day most days. I can't increase my exercise more! Yes, I've slacked slightly on eating carbs, but still nothing like before. Is this a plateau, or does my body just know it's been here before and want to stay here? Any thoughts, ideas?

Read about something called a refeed day!! Also after a while your body adapts to the exercises your doing you gotta push through it and workout a lil harder0

One hour 3-4 times a week is the maximum I can spend time wise. Curves recommends 30 minutes 3 times a week, so I'm already doubling that.0

It usually does help if you open your diary up for all to see0
