I cook with it, put it in my protein shakes, and in my coffee every morning.

i know, coffee sounds weird, and i was pretty skeptical at first, but I am not even a big coffee drinker and it's so good! 1 tbsp in your coffee, blend it up, so tasty.

I feel like I have a lot more energy in the morning/first 1/2 of the day when i have some coconut oil first thing. It's great fuel.

Its magical (it will even find your misplaced keys) and has 120 calories per tablespoon.

I use it daily. I use it for cooking and sometimes in coffee or off a measuring spoon plain. It has helped my cholesterol levels. My triglycerides were borderline high and after I started using it they went to 58. Its high cal like any oil so make sure to measure. I also use it for skin care. Its a natural anti fungal, antibacterial and antiviral. Good stuff!
  • Thanks for the info :flowerforyou: - I've ordered my first jar of it and plan to put in in my coffee, cook with it (although I very rarely fry anything) and drizzle it on things like porridge (I presume I'll have to heat it first) and I think you can use it as a spread on toast as well?

Are you supposed to each a certain amount of it per day?

I've read that it helps you lose fat around your abdomen which is where I carry extra fat - Im typical apple shape. Have any of you found this to be true?

Coconut oil is good stuff but it doesn't magically melt fat off anywhere. That comes with generally losing weight and getting your BF% down.
