food after a run

The past 2 times I've run and not eaten after I've felt weird, kinda of nauseous and a headache.
I don't know if I should post this here or on the fitness and exercise board.
I ran about 30 min after I ate a good breakfast (english muffin, eggbeaters, and veggie sausage).
Should I eat something different before? What should I eat after?

you will hear so many answers for this but I would say just keep to your daily limit and it does not matter to much when you eat the food0

Eating too much too soon, when you're eating before a run you want low protein, higher-carb, low-fiber breakfast and afterwards I find whenever (now rarely) nausea sets in a banana is good post-run and seems to settle the stomach enough to allow for more food to be eaten soon after.
So for an example of a pre-run breakfast, bagel with either peanut butter or low-fat cream cheese is a good option, bowl of oatmeal or cold cereal are also good ones.
If you MUST eat 30 mins before, aim for something smaller but the above options are good for 1- 1 1/2 hours before your run0
