New batteries added 8 lbs :(

So I decided to change the batteries in my electronic scale.
I have had this scale a few years, (about 5 years I suppose) so I thought it would be a good idea to put in fresh ones. So now I don't know what to believe! Was I really heavier when I started and did I not lose 25 lbs. I guess I will have to use a different scale to know for sure.

Well....if you have always weighed on this scale, worst case scenario is you were 8 pounds heavier at every stage... But losing 25 pounds is awesome and nothing changes that accomplishment. You just have a bit longer journey than you expected.
