Quick help needed

So, had my mind set on a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast this morning to discover DH must have eaten it all. Can't seem to wrap my mind around what is a good breakfast now. Any suggestions??

Greek yogurt with chia seeds is my go-to. On weekends, we make light English muffins with egg and turkey bacon.

Anything can be a good breakfast. Protein like eggs or fruit will give you energy for the day. A bowl of cereal works!

Oooh, what are chia seeds? Guess I need to buy some greek yogurt too. I am now looking at cereal, but I am not a fan. The fact that there are steaks in my fridge which would go great with eggs are what are killing me right now. Mmmmm, steak and eggs . . . but I know that is NOT a good choice.

During the week at work I eat a Chiboni yogurt every morning. Weekends I chop up ham (about 3 oz.) mix it into 2 eggs, scramble and add about 1/4 cup cheese. Now, I've been sleeved, so I can't eat more than that amount, not enough room, and I need to get 70-80 grams of protein a day, so this gives me a lot of protein.

Ahhh, I have it. One egg scrambled with half an avocado on the side. Yes!

Seriously? Steak and eggs is a GREAT choice..unless you are deep frying it. Protein will keep you fuller longer. That's why Greek yogurt and chia is good (high protein) If I could afford it I would have that every day!

Steak and eggs isn't a horrible choice. I have eggs for breakfast most mornings. They keep me feeling full every morning. Sometimes I'll scramble them with chicken sausage and mushrooms for a yummy under 400 calorie breakfast. Sometimes, I'll poach them and put them over top of 35 calorie toast and have turkey bacon with them. Your eggs are going to be 70 calories a piece (if they are large). I'm not sure what the calorie count on your steak is. But, it may be doable.

I guess my thought is that I would want two eggs fried along with the steak. I likely wouldn't eat 2 oz of steak, but more like 6 and that would use up a lot of my calories for the day. I would prefer to use the steak for dinner with some sweet potatoes and lighten up the breakfast. I have some learnin' to do, though, and am glad to have a place where I can do it.

Best place to eat (in my opinion) a protein heavy meal (steak & eggs) is breakfast. It'll keep you going well into lunch time. Fry the eggs in cooking spray (not butter) and warm the steak up. Have 3 oz if 2 isn't enough.

I had greek yogurt with a scoop of chocolate protein powder mixed in and two piece of toast with peanut butter - 400 calories 37 grams of protein. I will not be hungry until lunch :)
