Starting to plan the maintenance part of my life...

or hopefully known as the rest of my life.

I started to look at numbers (I LOVE numbers) and saw that my BMR will be 1350 cal when I will reach my goal weight and that my TDEE will be 1572 cal.

I was wondering if I should start eating at that level (so between 1350 cal and 1572 cal) and just get used to that and then whenever I reach my goal weight nothing really majorly has to happen since I will be used to eating like that.

Right now I am eating at 1200 cal + exercise (300-500 a day) and I am assuming I would still lose weight if I would eat between 1350 - 1572 cal.

Am I thinking this wrong? Or does it sound like it might be possible?

Many people are eating at their goal weight maintenance amounts. Works fine.
Congrats! You may even find you are still losing at what you think is TDEE and you can adjust accordingly.

Sounds like a REALLY low TDEE- do you not do anything all day? Or you like setting it low and eating extra as its earned?

Personally I like know the real deal and not juggling and wheeling and dealing my calories- Just know the true TDEE and eat that - (minus 20% to knock weight off)

There's a good article on estimating maintenance calories here: http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/fat-loss/how-to-estimate-maintenance-caloric-intake.html just remember its an ESTIMATE so its a good starting point but you will need to tweak it.

First of all I am tiny! I am almost 5'3''.

And secondary, I am in school all day and studying so it will be low and then I would eat back the excise calories.
