Away from the gym...

I'm going to visit my dad next Thursday until Sunday which means I can only get to the gym on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I usually go 5 or 6 days a week! I also struggle to stay on track with healthy eating as last time I went I ate a bit too much but I'm hoping I can learn from my mistakes. How do you not put on weight in 4 days without the gym? My calorie goal is 1200 which i may go over as we'll be eating out every day. It's stressing me out and the weekend after is my birthday weekend and I'll have calorific meal and a dessert and I can guarantee my friends will buy me chocolate. How do I cope and not put on weight?!

1200 is super low anyway - a few extra calories likely won't do you any harm. 3 days a week at the gym is plenty. Eat healthy foods, get in some movement (you can walk, do an exercise video, etc w/out a gym) and you'll be fine.0

Er putting on weight in 4 days...you need to get a grip on reality...unless you are heavily overconsuming I doubt four days is going to make much difference...0

I would just try to stay under 1600 on those days and not worry about it. I work out 5 or 6 days a week and I am using the 3 days over Thanksgiving to give my body a rest. I figure I will be totally rejuvenated for my Monday morning workout.0

I've been walking/jogging around my neighborhood and doing bodyweight exercises in the living room to make up for being away from the gym this week. Speaking of, I'm just about to head out for another walk this afternoon. Gonna go see what's left at the department stores in town after the Black Friday shoppers had their way with them, lol.0
