Diet products

Do you use/drink diet soda or other diet foods? I have heard the fake sugars can make you crave real sugar. I've also heard diet drinks can make you hold onto calories!?

What're your thoughts?

No, because it all tastes like ****. Fit it in, or avoid it.

And by "fit it in" I mean, fit in the real stuff.

Generally not, but not because its artificial, but because I do not like the taste. However, whether it makes you crave sugar is dependent on the individual - some it does, some it does not. And it does not make you hold onto calories. If you like it and do not have any sensitivity to it, drink diet soda (within reason - two dozen a day is probably not a good idea).

I find fizzy drinks make me bloated, whether they're diet or not!

Ive pretty much cut out pop (im canadian.. so POP haha) I drink mainly water, tea, and coffee. But once in while Ill have a can... or if Im having a "cheat day" Ill have some from a resteraunt.

But I always wonder about "fake" sugar in general. I use twin sugar in my coffee/tea.. Im still losing weight but I worry about other side effects it might lead to later in life.. :\
