I don't know if the advertising on MFP is the same for everyone, but when I read the forums there's a banner at the top of the page that says:

"Hey Fatty! You Need To Lose Some Damn Weight"

I thought this was funny but I don't know if others find it offensive? Do you?

    I laughed too I guess the idea behind it is to shock you into into losing weight??? I kind of thought it was funny too and I am overweight but also thought that some that don't have my sense of humor might take offense to it. Besides if someone was going to shock me into losing weight by calling me fat I would have been skinny decades ago. (Yeah I am guilty of clicking on that banner too) lol

    um, same ad for me. I did a screen clipping - so I have it saved if Mikes gets too many complaints.
