Anyone have any supplements you can recommend?

Hey everyone!
When I FIRST started my weight-loss/fitness journey I tried Herbalife and it sucked big time.
I was so full, I couldn't even eat regular food and then would binge on crap food like a mofo. LOL!
But, I LOVED the supplements so when I recommitted to myself I have been using them still.
Well, they are expensive and there are a lot of pills to take daily.
I am looking for others maybe that I could get from GNC or something that would be like once/twice
a day and cheaper for me.
This is what I've been taking and would like to find alternatives for:
Multivitamin
A metabolism/energy booster
A water pill
I also was taking a fat blocker that was pretty much a bunch of extra fiber I guess.
I'm still pretty new to all this so thanks!

go to walmart or target and get the store brand multi vitamin... you don't need that other stuff.. just exercise, and eat clean.. I eat mostly vegetables, protein, I mix in a little dairy (greek yogurt) and the occasional fruit but that is about it...0

I do know I want to continue with an energy/metabolism booster... I am a single mom and an ex-coke addict so I need all the help staying awake I can get... let alone finding the energy to workout ;P0

Google why you shouldn't buy from gnc, read for five minutes and then go to amazon .com. The only fat loss supplements I know of that work are a) potentially dangerous, and have insufficient testing, b) illegal. c) Have very little effect for how much they cost.0

I have MS, used to take diet pills just to stay awake! I agree, most stuff that WORKS to keep you awake is not safe in the least way... just have to test stuff out to see what works for you... you can start with adding extra b vitamins..0

i take actiderm snack stoppers, hydra slim drink and silhouettes lost a stone on them so far x0

I search for vitamins in their natural forms. I just don't believe in taking a lot of pill based vitamins or supplements. A doctor once told me that they're not good for your digestive system. (Don't know how true that is or not- just passing along some info) Maybe it's just the hippie heart of mine, but I believe that if it comes from the earth, it's probably ok for you. Anything man made is scary to me. Good Luck!0

Super HD is grom the GNC store, Its makes you workout longer and and heat up more to burn that fat off faster. Plus you Dont get jitters AND you are able to CONTROL your Hunger. Trust me you feel great not drugged like other stuff out there. Supplement just came out this year. Top of the charts! I dropped 6pounds body fat in a week!! I eat healthy and light weight lifting sped it UP alot!0

For daily health/wellbeing supplements I use a multivitamin to fill in any micro nutrient gaps in my diet and fish oil caps.
When it comes to training I use a protein supplement for post workout and also creatine.0 -
A multi, fish oil, protein powder and dialing in your diet is all you need.0

Moringa oleifera is the only thing I take0

Pretty much any of the fat loss pills at GNC will give you energy, you just might get the jitters with em(at least until your body gets used to it). My favorite is Xenadrine for a work day over 12 hours. But if you're not doing something physically exhausting just take a multivitamin and fish oil(you burp a fishy taste occasionally) and maybe something with green tea extract for metabolism and get a good night sleep(melatonin if you have trouble sleeping). Most supplement shops have vitamin packs with different options(fat loss, recovery, etc.). For your workout BCAAs and protein powder0

um, sorry if i'm way out of line, but maybe labdoor.com would be useful to you in choosing supplements. addiction isn't something i have personal experience with, but i kind of know what i'm like. if i had beaten one addiction already, i think i'd be careful about knowing what was in anything else i decided to take.
single mom, though . . . i get the tired part of it, all the way. good luck.

I would contingently recommend:
Protein powder, IF... you do not get enough protein intake from food to meet daily requirements.
Fish oil, IF... you don't eat fish occasionally throughout the week.
Multi-vitamin, IF... you want insurance against being in a caloric deficit and/or you don't think you eat enough fruits/vegetables.
Caffeine, IF... you feel you need a stimulant for alertness, energy, and/or hunger curbing. No need for expensive pills...they all have the same cheap ingredient (Caffeine) in common and its the only thing that really has any bearing on the pill's effects. So whether its from tea, coffee, soda, Red Bull, or a caffeine pill...its just all varied degrees of dosage.
Creatine, IF... you workout with weights and want to see if you respond to its effects of slightly improving workout (note: this will cause you to retain a little water due to the effect of pulling more water into muscle)
Side note: If you don't eat enough fruits, vegetables, and grains to get enough fiber, then using something like Metamucil or equivalent is a lot cheaper than these "fat blockers."
