Firstly, hi everyone!
I've been a member for quite a while with a different username (which i forgot!) but never really posted.
Since January 2010 i lost 5 stone, but unfortunately, some of that has now come back on.
Due to gallstones i had to have my gallbladder removed and now i'm experiencing problems again and my doctor has suggested i try a no fat diet.
Can anyone suggest foods that contain no fat or as little fat as possible?
Been back on my diet properly for 2 weeks and lost 6lbs so far

Hi there!!
fage plain fat free greek yogurt is a great no-fat substitute for sour cream, or addition to smoothies, soups, etc. I don't like it by itself, though, but many people do!
Good luck!0 -
Thanks both of you
I know you need some fats, but unfortunately my doctor has said it may be the only way to stop the symptoms i get!0 -
If your doctor has suggested something extreme and didn't give you any advice on how to do it, let me advise you to call him up and ask him to either suggest a diet or to refer you to a dietitian, or see another doctor to see if this is really best advice for your situation.
I've been through quite a year myself and I understand being given some radical suggestions to help undo some of the harmful drugs I've had to take. Fortunately every doctor involved with me and wanting to help the situation has given me both helpful information and gotten me to professionals to help with my diet choices. It's been very helpful.0 -

This is really great advice! Have your doctor refer you to a nutritionist so you have another member of your health team0 -
Thanks for your advice0
