Looking for support

Hi, my name is Niki (duh, lol) and I just had a baby about 3 months ago. I gained FAR FAR too much weight with this baby and although I'm 10 lbs down from my max weight, all of that was the baby, amniotic fluid and placenta. None of it was ME! I have about 50-ish pounds to lose and although I joined a gym and I've been working out faithfully, the scale has not budged. I know that 1) muscle weighs more than fat so if I'm building muscle I might not see weight loss for a while and 2) I am breastfeeding which probably causes the fat to be more inclined to stick around. But two things y'all need to know: I've been working out 6 weeks now, shouldn't I see SOME improvement? (I mean I do, I feel healthier and I don't get out of breath so much anymore, but no VISIBLE results) And second, I don't intend to give up breastfeeding even if it means I am stuck being fat the whole time. My baby comes first not my vanity. But I can use some support and encouragement! My main problem area is night eating. I snack a lot, and not on healthy stuff, while I watch TV at night. That's why I've forced myself to go to the gym from 9-11 PM because that takes up most of the time that I would normally be sitting on my behind stuffing my face. Thoughts? THANK YOU!
