knee buckled during JM 30 day shred! need advice please!

I litterally just started doing JM's 30 Day Shred today. 17 minutes into the workout my "bad" knee (I've sprained it several times at work) buckled. I played it safe and have been resting it. I want to try again tomorrow but I also don't want to hurt myself worse. Should I just take tomorrow off of the 30DS or could I do a smaller portion of it? I've never had this happen before so I have no idea how to proceed. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I have torn the meniscus in my left knee and so adapt some of the movements to make them manageable. I am now on level 3 (as I was a complete couch potato prior to starting 30DS I have done 30 days level 1, 30 days level 2 and am now on day 25 of my 30 days on level 3) and coping. I find some of the jumps impossible but replace wit other strength/ cardio as appropriate. Just take it easy and listen to your body
    Oh and good luck!

I rolled my ankle about 2 weeks ago, and the physio still won't let me run on it because it hasn't healed - injuries take time to heal! I've been having problems with the amount of jumping (jumping jacks, skipping rope, etc), so I'm being careful and listening to my body. I did more of the squats with the punching instead of some of the skip rope

I'd try to keep up the momentum and do mainly the upper body stuff and steer clear of the jumps/squats. During those sections you could do some of her other exercises that won't hurt your knee. It's not quite the same but at least it keeps you on track until you can do more with your knee.

I know if it was me and I had a few days off, I would really struggle then to get back into it. Hope you feel better soon!

Give your knee time to heal. If it just buckled, you probably have some resulting damage and may be experiencing some inflamation. Ice it, rest it, and when you do get back to working out, look into some athletic knee wraps to support it.
