How do you calculate things from a restaurant that does not provide nutritional info?

Im having for dinner a grilled chicken salad (not ceasar) 3 oz grilled chicken and lettuce greens, onions I do not know how big the salad is but Im thinking about 2 1/2 cups plus the chicken
-and 1 slice pizza (regular crust) with spinach, broccoli and feta cheese on it.
I will add dressing to the salad (I have the calories for that) - but since we are getting this take out from a local place -- how would I estimate the calories for this? It isnt a chain that has info on the web...any thoughts?? Would you break it all up s eperately like 2 1/2 cups lettuce, 1/4 cup onions, 1/2 tomato, 3 oz chicken and then the pizza 1/4 cup spinach, 1/4 cup feta etc etc - that is a pain in the butt...I will do it if thats what it will take...but any other suggestions?

Either break it up as you described, or enter the ingredients into a recipe calculator to get the nutritional info. Your other option, which imo is the least accurate, is to dig through the database and find stuff that looks similar in composition.

It gets really easy to enter, so many have added their foods, that I'm surprised when a food ISN"T on the database!!

I sometimes average a certain item or food, like pizza, compare similar pizza places, pizza hut, papa johns,, ect. Then you should be able to figure out at least an estimate. I also do thisBEFORE deciding what to eat when going out to a rest.
