Pain in Foot

I have had a really sharp pain on the outside of my left foot since after my run on Wednesday. I don't think it's a stress fracture because the bones don't seem to hurt. It feels like more of a muscle pain and only hurts when I put pressure on it (from walking).
Has anyone else experienced this or know what it might be or how I can treat it?

You need to check your running shoes to make sure they are supporting you properly. I have had a heel spur from running/walking/standing in poorly made shoes - it was resolved with a good make of shoes. The pharmacist recommended ibuprofen and rest for 3 days which got rid of the pain so you might find this could help you0

Thank you! Someone else told me it could be my shoes, too. They have gotten bigger since I've lost weight so I guess it's time for new ones.0
