food diary?

If you could take the time to look at my food diary and perhaps give me some feedback? I've been tracking daily for a good five weeks now and have lost in total in those weeks 8lbs. I find it difficult to build up my calories as you might see so some advice in that direction would be lovely too,
thankyou :)

There's nothing wrong with what you're actually eating as it's all healthy stuff but I would definitely suggest more protein, chicken, fish, lean red meat or go for a veggie alternative. Linda McCartney's stuff is quite high in protein. You could also go for a protein shake which will add protein and calories. Avocados are quite calorific but so tasty and good for you. Peanut butter is high in cals too. Also since you're in the UK look into the Graze boxes. www.graze.com. They have loads of healthy tasty snacks, I couldn't do without them.

Your calories are very, very low. What is stopping you from eating more (if you don't mind me asking...)

How about snacking on some nuts? Fruits? Houmous? Cheese?
Do you eat fish at all?

Very healthy food but not a lot of it - losing 8lb in 5 weeks is a lot for someone as slim as you.
    I'm a chubster and I'm only aiming for 1lb/week.

Must congratulate you on sharing your diary.

Why are you starving yourself? If you like pizza have a few slices or make your own. You definitely need more protein.
  • I've lost 8Ibs in the past 5-6 weeks and I eat loads more than this, my diary is open though it's not the healthiest or a good example...I'm seriously lazy! You could try changing the style of your diary to include more snacks between meals..mines broken into 6, such as a banana or nuts. I buy a bag of raisens, nut mix, almonds etc, mix it all up in a big jar and grab a handful to munch on here and there or throw on my cereal, it's high in calories but healthy in moderation.
Your diary is really healthy and you look great, so it looks like you are doing fab so far so maybe just up your portions a little.
  • Thankyou for your feedback,
I always make sure I eat three meals a day but I can't help it I don't feel hungry inbetween and therefore I don't feel the need to have something to eat. I do try and fit in at least one snack a day as you can see but snack on fruit or yoghurts which don't up my calories much. I'm not purposely starving myself as I am eating three meals that I enjoy, they are just low in calories
