Just a quick question for you all. I recently got my meal plan from the weight loss clinic I'm attending and have to eat 8 times a day. However two of those meals (more like light snacks) are to be eatten 15 minutes before my lunch and supper and must contain either a protein or a fiber and be no more then 75 calories. Just wondering if any of you have any ideas of what options I can use for these mini snacks. I know cheese sticks are 60 calories and would count as a protein (not really a big cheese fan and don't want to eat cheese all the time either) . Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

....Yeah ^^ eggs are good, they are about 75 calories...

Ummmm i dont know thats tough, they didn't give you any ideas??

    - Maybe celery or apple and some peanut butter (you' have to figure out portions though for 75 cals)

    - figure out how many almonds are in 75 cals, and have a few of those? ( it would probably be around 7 almonds, which isn't much)

    - have a slice of turkey wrapped around a low fat bread stick (or something else like cheese)?

thats all I can think of at the moment, but I hope it helps!
  • What about a half of a greek yogurt? I have the Oikos vanilla one everyday and they are about 130 for the whole 5.3 oz container.. but they have a great amount of protein.
